Vagharshak Elibekian
(1910-1994)

Born in Tiflis.
1929 – finished “Hayartoun” art school,
1936-1956 – was the director of the Armenia Theatre in Tbilisi and  director of Armenian State Theatre,
1989 – the exhibition “Elibekians” (the Museum of Oriental Art, Moscow).
1994 – died in Yerevan. Personal exhibitions:
1976 – Yerevan 1977 – Tbilisi 2005 – the works were shown in the exhibition of “Naïve Masters”, Tbilisi. The works are kept in Modern Art Museum (Yerevan), National Gallery of Armenia (Yerevan), Museum of Literature (Yerevan), National Gallery of Georgia (Tbilisi), in the picture galleries of Moscow and Baku, and many private collections in Armenia and abroad.
